From Springfield, MO, take US Highway 65 North to Preston, MO, then Highway 54 west to Hermitage. Go south from Hermitage on Highway 254/64 for approximately 4 miles to Carson Corner. Turn west on 254 toward Pomme de Terre Dam and continue across the dam. At the far end of the dam, turn north on the paved road and follow it to the park below the dam. |

During the off-season, there is no water, electricity or dump station available. Additional fees will be charged for additional camping units. Water levels on the river can rise or fall very quickly. Lifejackets only work if you wear them! Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site.
